Finance Assistant - Sheffield - Small Business - Accounts - Full-time - AAT - Sage - Excel

Your new company
You will be working for a local business within the energy sector, reporting to the Internal and Sales manager. You will be dealing with the day to day running of the accounts throughout the business. This company offers a flexible 35-hour weekly schedule as well as a hybrid remote working pattern.

Your new role

  • Managing the production of monthly accounts (invoicing & purchases).
  • Liaise/support AM's in chasing debt and copy and produce documentation where required.
  • Preparing the accounts for the end of the year.
  • Ensure expenses claims are collected and processed.
  • Assist the manager with the payroll to include year-end P11D's and HMRC.
  • VAT return.
  • Commission Payment Analysis.


  • What you'll need to succeed
    • AAT Qualified
    • The ability to work both in a team and independently.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Experience with Sage.
    • Excel and IT packages.
    • A can do attitude and determination to succeed.
