Raytheon is seeking a Government Property Specialist who will be responsible for government and Raytheon property support at the Huntsville, Alabama location. This role is a key contributor in ensuring compliance with company policy, procedures, contractual terms, and FAR property regulatory requirements. Ensuring compliance includes auditable record data integrity for government and customer owned property throughout the property life cycle events (acquisition to disposition). What You Will Do: Participate in all internal assessments and external DCMA property system audits.
Be a key compliance component to resolve corrective actions and identify process improvements.
Be responsible for unique site-specific activities that include audits for AS9100, OIS assets and Product Based Logistics material.
Manage site plant clearance and associated customer interactions.
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing government, customer, and company property requirements; providing direction and guidance to other business functions.
Ensure business needs are met by adapting quickly to changing situations and responding promptly to urgent requests.
Communicate with program managers, directors, functional leadership, customer representatives and government agencies related to property activities.
Perform conflict resolution and relationship management to promote an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect, and trust.
Interpret and implement FAR and DFAR contract property requirements.
Lift (Knees to shoulders), 28 pounds (2 handed), 12 pounds (1-handed) or 2-handed lifting below knee or above shoulder, 18 pounds.
Obtain National Property Management Association, CPPS certification within first year of employment.
Qualifications You Must Have: Minimum 3 years experience managing government property.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance.
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years relevant experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Value: Knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM, and asset tracking systems.
Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements and/or Sarbanes Oxley.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
