Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking a Mid-Level Machine Learning Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location. We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Machine Learning Developer to join our dynamic and innovative AI team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust machine learning operations and cloud architectures, with a strong focus on generative AI development, AWS cloud architecture, and overall machine learning development. The successful candidate will support multiple AI and data science projects, ensuring seamless deployment, monitoring, and optimization of machine learning models within our AWS framework. Duties: Machine Learning Development: Design and maintain advanced machine learning systems. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, with a focus on generative AI models. Ensure seamless deployment of machine learning models, emphasizing generative AI and user feedback integration. Implement and oversee monitoring, quality, and compliance frameworks for all AI models. Integrate version control to manage different iterations of the development environment. Ensure scalability of the development environment to handle increasing complexity and volume of data. AWS Cloud Architecture Development: Set up and maintain cloud environments in AWS, ensuring secure and scalable cloud infrastructures. Configure resources to replicate development systems and create secure, scalable cloud architectures. Implement security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts for automated provisioning and management of AWS resources. Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance. Generative AI Development: Develop, implement, and refine generative AI algorithms. Analyze complex datasets for training and evaluation of generative AI models. Develop automated tests corresponding to standard practices and create dashboards for evaluating metrics. Conduct bias detection and mitigation within generative AI models. Continuously research and integrate state-of-the-art generative AI techniques. Data Pipeline Development using AWS: Design and develop data pipelines using AWS cloud architecture and tools. Ensure high standards of security, reliability, and efficiency in all pipeline processes. Automate the generation of data processing workflows and summaries. Conduct regular audits and reviews of the data pipeline to ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilize AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon ECR for efficient data processing and storage. Optimization and Refinement: Measure performance metrics and identify areas to make code more efficient. Narrow down features to those with the best performance and optimize accordingly. Verify architecture and models in the pre-deployment test bed. Perform thorough performance testing under various conditions. Implement optimizations based on performance testing results. Develop rollback mechanisms to revert to previous model versions if needed. Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : Demonstrable experience in machine learning development, AWS cloud architecture, and AI development. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with specific experience in generative AI libraries and frameworks. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Travel: 10 % Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Desired Skills : TS/SCI Clearance or eligibility to obtain Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in cloud technologies and machine learning. Published research or contributions to open-source projects in generative AI, MLOps and Cloud Architecture Overview People First.
