Here is your chance to be a FT DIET AIDE TEMPORARY at Acacia Health Center a 5-STAR RATED Health Center

Diet Aide - Full-Time (Temporary) Day & Evening (Temp)

Pay: $17.00/hr.

Schedule: 6:30A - 2:30P; 11A-7P - and rotating weekend shifts

Location: Acacia Health Center at Sagewood

4555 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85050

Vaccination: FLU vaccine REQUIRED.

We are currently hiring Servers (Diet Aide) for our Acacia Healthcare Center and assisted living residences. This role needs someone who provides exceptionally high levels of customer care with compassion and heart. Does this sound like you

Life Care Services is the premier provider of senior living in the nation. Our Sagewood location is nestled in the beautiful desert just off the 101 with incredible access to many neighboring restaurants, shopping plus the Mayo Clinic and Hospital.

Looking for individuals like you to work during the week with rotating weekends. Here is what we typically have: 6:30A - 2:30P, 11A-7P.

Come work in our beautiful healthcare building which supports skilled nursing, assisted living and memory support/care. Provide optimum hospitality services to our residents and their guests.

What you do:

  • Assists in implementation of policy and procedures of the dining room.
  • Assists in providing on-the-job training for dining room personnel.
  • Provides leadership to the staff and implies all expectations of the Food and Beverage management.
  • Participates in cost control measure
  • Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
  • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

What qualifications you need:
  • Create positive interactions with seniors.
  • Follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Understands measurements.
  • Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
  • A minimum of two years Server and or dietary aide experience in a senior living community, or healthcare center.
  • Expect to work an occasional weekend.
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time with the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Working in a restaurant style kitchen.
  • Must pass background check and have a satisfactory driving record if assigned to golf cart.
