Job Summary:
Apriva's Information Security Systems Division is looking to add an additional dynamic and experienced Systems Engineer to its already exceptional team. We are looking for an experienced engineer who specializes in Windows Server environment, Windows Based End-User Devices, and has experience working within classified networks. This role can be engaged in multiple projects, providing innovative solutions to next-generation Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) capabilities for our clients. Duties/Responsibilities:
• Design, Implement, Configure, and Administer network services, servers, hypervisors, and storage appliances and supporting system/server resources to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
• Plan and perform systems level updates, maintenance, and disaster recovery operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement systems security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. • Perform testing and create documentation for reporting systems status, support on-going operations, QA Testing procedures, and change management.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software integration, or security infrastructure and End-User Computing related issues.
• Collaborate on a multi-disciplinary team of Software, QA, Networking, and Operations staff.
• Interface/coordinate with customer's leadership/operations staff for system health, performance reporting, troubleshooting end user issues, scheduled outages, and new capabilities deployments.
• This position will support on-site periodic deployments to both CONUS and OCONUS and may require travel of about 25% of the time. Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT related discipline is required
• 10+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Administration role is required.
• An active DoD SECRET Security Clearance at minimum is required.
• Current Active IAT Level 2 Qualifying Cyber Security Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months (Sec+, CySA+, CISSP, etc.) is required.
• 6+ years or more of strong in-depth experience with implementing and managing Windows Server Platforms and services such as: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authorities, SCCM/MECM, WSUS, etc. (Windows Server 2016 or Newer) is required.
• Experience with server/system hardening in compliance with the NSA Security Technical Implementation Guide - STIG is required.
• 6+ years of experience implementing, patching, updating, securing, and Windows Desktops within an enterprise environment. (Windows 10 & 11) is a plus.
• Experience deploying and managing Windows/Red Hat Linux Servers and Desktops within a virtualized environment is a plus. • Prior experience with VDI solutions such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, WVDI, etc. is a plus.
• Knowledge of Automation for provisioning, patching, and troubleshooting of server devices is a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
