We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as aTraining and Development Manager, Senior to work out of Tucson, AZ. Position is contingent upon award of contract Part-Time Job Summary: We have an exciting opportunity supporting ARCWERX Innovation Center in Tucson, AZ. Our Training and Development Manager collaborates with department heads to assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs that support organizational objectives across 90 geographically separated units. Our training and development manager will evaluate existing education offerings and propose courses of action based on ARCWERX strategic goals. Upon approval of this plan our training manager develops and implements a comprehensive innovation curriculum. Taking an SE approach to curriculum development applying the dynamic instructional systems development process and using the Kirkpatrick evaluation method to measure and analyze the curriculum's effectiveness. Essential Duties: Lead the curriculum development and implementation.
Design curriculum, learning modules, and training materials using instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
Ensure training programs incorporate interactive and engaging elements to enhance learning effectiveness.
Facilitate training sessions for employees, managers, and leaders, both in-person and through virtual platforms.
Manage outsourced education partners.
Plan and conduct train-the-trainer sessions to build internal capability for program delivery.
Evaluate training delivery methods and adjust strategies as needed to maximize participant engagement and knowledge retention.
Develop and implement assessment tools and evaluation metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Analyze training feedback and performance data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
Provide constructive feedback to trainers and facilitators to continuously improve their delivery skills.
Oversee the administration and maintenance of the organization's LMS, including content management, user management, and reporting.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning technology to recommend and implement enhancements.

Required Qualifications: 10 years of related experience
Proven experience as a Training Manager, Learning and Development Manager, or similar role.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
Experience in designing and delivering training programs in various formats (e.g., classroom, virtual, e-learning).
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Education/ Certification: Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
