Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Lead Program Manager with a major corporation in Burbank, CA
11+ month contract
Pay Rate: $100 - $121/hr DOE
Must Haves:
Must have heavy understanding of project delivery. This role is a people leader that handles strategic programs from a PM perspective. It is project managing.
15 -20 yrs experience of leading large complex enterprise technology level projects with heavy executive leader presence. Must be expert at creating and presenting for presentations.
Will be leading teams as a whole but not a direct team.
Project - Will be focusing on global HR process and standardization of processes as it relates to cos savings. What can be standardized as a whole.
Looking for resources coming from top 3-5 companies such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Bain & Company, Client, EY.
Description:
The Lead Program Manager will spearhead the planning and execution of technology delivery within the Enterprise Technology team, specifically focusing on the SuccessFactors platform. This role ensures end-to-end delivery of technology solutions aligned with business capabilities and collaboration across support operations. The ideal candidate will partner with various stakeholders, including matrix projects and third-party resources, to drive strategic planning and delivery leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
" Lead program planning and strategy, including resource identification and forecasting.
" Establish and track key performance indicators to monitor project health and status.
" Analyze data to produce actionable insights and propose solutions for identified issues.
" Manage the Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) log, facilitating resolutions in collaboration with project management teams.
" Communicate project status and escalations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
" Build and deliver impactful presentations for very senior audiences, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
" Collaborate with business partners, solution architects, and delivery managers to foster strong relationships across the organization.
" Drive execution of complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project vision, objectives, and expected outcomes.
" Develop governance practices to monitor projects and ensure proactive scheduling of deliverables.
" Oversee project financial forecasts, resource plans, and expense tracking.
" Implement process improvements in project management to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
" Foster a self-organizing team environment focused on continuous learning and delivering value.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience Requirements:
" 10+ years managing large, complex technology programs.
" 3+ years in a delivery leadership role.
" Big 3 consulting experience highly preferred (McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Bain & Company)
" Proven ability to navigate ambiguous work environments and drive results.
" Strong communication and presentation skills, adept at engaging both technical and business audiences.
" Experience leading technology projects with a focus on innovative problem-solving.
" Familiarity with modern project management tools (e.g., Clarity PPM, Smartsheet, MS Project Online) and collaboration software (e.g., MS Teams).
" Experience working in Fortune 50 companies preferred.
