The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department. This position will assist with maintaining financial records, preparing and overseeing commissions, credit memos, and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
The Accounting Specialist will:
- Maintain and create financial and sales report
- Process Commissions and reporting to sale's rep.
- Processing Credit memos
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Process invoices.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Handle any administrative tasks as required by the accounting department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts and bank statements
- Researching and correcting account discrepancies
The Ideal Candidate should have:
- Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or in a similar role with a minimum of 5+ years.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Netsuite, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
Pay Rate: 25-30/ hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
