Title: Senior Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst

Location: Remote (local candidates prioritized -Los Angeles, CA)

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Sr. This role is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and operationalizing revenue cycle information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and document IT design specifications based on user needs analysis

Generate need-gap analyses and develop system scope and objectives

Analyze and evaluate existing/proposed systems, devising procedures to solve problems

Ensure data integrity, maintain system security, and facilitate user/vendor communication

Manage software upgrades, implementations, and conversions

Understand functional workflows and processes to maintain system efficiency

Provide direct customer service and handle project-related activities

Analyze, plan, design, create, and maintain intermediate to advanced reports

Work independently on complex system and project management activities

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Minimum 5 years of relevant revenue cycle experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in an IS healthcare setting

Experience with 2 full life cycle implementations (from scoping to go-live support)

Minimum 3 years of Soarian Application experience

Minimum 3 years of experience with HL7, Patient Access, and Revenue Cycle systems

Ability to troubleshoot Soarian interface issues and third-party applications

Experience with systems like PBAR, MedSeries4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, and PatientKeeper

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience creating and maintaining reports using tools like IBM Showcase, QlikView, CCL, OnDemand, and Siemens MedSeries4

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Ability to lead small to medium projects, facilitate meetings, and deliver results on time and within budget

Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently and completing tasks independently

Strong customer service focus, capable of addressing user questions/concerns efficiently

Excellent communication skills, able to work closely with internal/external stakeholders

Strong analytical skills with the ability to design solutions and solve problems

Knowledge of performance improvement techniques and business transformation opportunities

Willingness to fulfill on-call responsibilities and handle other duties as assigned
