Title: Finance Program Manager

Location: Mountain View, CA 94043

Pay rate: $50.00 - $55 /hour DOE

Duration: 10+ Months (Possibility of extension)

Duties:

The Project Manager must communicate with project team members, stakeholders, and leadership throughout a project. They will monitor the project's progress, keep it on schedule, and use critical data (status, escalations, etc.) to make necessary recommendations to ensure its success. This role will primarily focus on supporting finance systems transformation initiatives, working directly with stakeholders from across Finance, Product, Engineering IT, and Compliance teams to ensure deliverables are met, metrics are tracked and published, change management is supported, and, at times, will create process flows and narratives. The ideal candidate is committed to innovation. They seek, develop, and implement project plans and implement change management to improve the efficiency and productivity of the stakeholders they support. Essential responsibilities for a Project Manager include Creating long and short-term program plans, including setting targets for milestones, deliverables and adhering to deadlines Directly execute assigned project tasks and manage stakeholders to do the same according to the project plan. Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress the project, including early escalation Serving as a point of contact within the FTDG PMO team to ensure effective implementation according to project timelines Communicating with team members, stakeholders, and leadership via status reporting, weekly meetings, Executive Steering Committee (ESC) meetings, etc. This includes creating materials to support the various methods of communication Developing and administering change management plans to support the uptake of the solution by the target audience. Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed for the project changes Ensuring the project plan is up to date and accurate includes continuous follow-up with team members to ensure updates are made promptly Ensure deliverables and timelines are met (hold people accountable) Remove barriers efficiently; drive escalations Upward Leadership communication & alignment and cross-team communication to cascade critical information

Requirements:

  • Experience developing and implementing change management planning and working with stakeholders to communicate and ensure change adoption. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and write executive summaries. Able to lead cross-functional collaboration efforts toward an aligned goal Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to navigate multiple stakeholder groups in a matrixed environment to deliver programs Flexible to take on new, varied, and parallel projects. Ability to work and pivot as needed, with speed, in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented & creative with visualization tools (Gslides, etc.). Experience with GSheets, smartsheet, creating dashboards, and various other tools to support project management Qualifications.
  • At least ten years of project management experience Finance experience a plus You are a proven project manager who knows how to independently build project briefs, project plans, dashboards, and timelines and hit the ground running with autonomy Deep knowledge of smartsheet functionality (developing dashboards, updating data, creating formulas, generating reports, etc.) Exceptional communication, change management, and presentation skills. Able to communicate with all levels of an organization.
