This role offers the opportunity to drive critical data-driven solutions that support oncology research, genomic data integration, and real-world clinical outcomes, enabling Guardant Health to advance precision oncology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams to gather and document business requirements. Ensure clarity of needs and objectives specific to genomic data analytics and real-world clinical outcomes.

Business Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of existing workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. Develop process maps and recommend solutions to improve data platform workflows.

Requirements Translation: Convert business needs into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams to implement.

Solution Design: Work with technical architects to design scalable data solutions that align with business objectives, focusing on data interoperability, longitudinal patient and genomic data, and cancer research workflows.

Project Management: Track project milestones, manage risks, and address any challenges to ensure successful delivery of genomic data solutions.

User Support: Serve as a subject matter expert in oncology and genomic data workflows, providing guidance to users and stakeholders. Facilitate user training and support the adoption of new data platform features, including those related to genetic testing results and variant reporting.

Configuration and Customization: Collaborate with technical teams to configure and tailor the data platform to meet the specific needs of oncology research, clinical trials, and genomics, enabling precise analysis of genetic mutations and alterations.

Proof of Concept: Lead the development of proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed features and data models.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business requirements before going live. Oversee the creation of test plans, scripts, and execution strategies.

Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and user guides. Use visual aids such as process flows and diagrams to ensure clear understanding.

Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process automation and enhancement to improve efficiency and support business growth in oncology research and patient outcomes.

Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with developers, support teams, and QA to deliver high-quality data solutions.
