Job description

Job Description

Do you want to work on thumb-stopping social media content, original campaign creative, and even the occasional broadcast commercial? Do you like the idea of working with celebrity athletes from the NFL, FIFA, the Olympic and Paralympic Games and Red Bull Racing. AND would you like to do all that for one of the world's most recognizable brands and our fortune 500 clients? If yes, then introductions are in order.

We are Ad Hock. Visa's internal creative agency. Just as Visa founder Dee Hock revolutionized the way we pay, Ad Hock is taking a new approach to the internal creative team by developing a fully functional advertising agency in-house. We create high-visibility content to support every layer of the funnel starting with brand awareness. Approximately 30% of our efforts support Visa's core brand and sponsorships. The other 70% of our work is dedicated to supporting Visa's partners and clients as an external creative agency. It's the perfect mix of client-side and agency life!

Our team is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a Business Affairs Manager to help accelerate our work, so we can build better, bolder, content. And lots of it!

The ideal candidate is someone who does not necessarily fit into the traditional mold of a Business Affairs Manager -apart from negotiating usage and licensing agreements and managing third party rights, we are looking for someone who thinks outside the box and uses their creativity to find efficiencies in our contracting processes to accelerate enablement.

You will be the indispensable linchpin of the entire production process, a go-to figure providing solutions to varied production, negotiation and business challenges. Acting as a liaison between, Ad Hock, Client Marketing Partners and our Legal teams.

You will work closely with our internal (creative, production, account managers, client partners and legal teams) and external stakeholders while ensuring our team of creatives can operate efficiently to deliver the highest quality content on time.

You will report directly to the Senior Director of Creative Operations in Ad Hock, and work in close collaboration with the entire Ad Hock team.

You'll be working with the best and brightest marketing, brand, and advertising teams the industry has to offer. Come join us!

Responsibilities

Work with Senior Director of Creative Ops to set up the internal contracting process, while finding creative and efficient solves to accelerate them.

Seeing around the corners and actively advising our team throughout the creative process by identifying potential risks and how to manage them, enabling us to deliver the best work for Visa and our clients.

Collaborate closely with Ad Hock's creative, production, account teams and Visa's legal team in our day-to-day work.

Review agency creative and advise on talent, production and intellectual property and other third party rights issues.

Negotiating licensing and developing of templates and preparing of and other third-party rights agreements.

Process vendor payments, purchase orders and actualization.

Be a strategic partner and a problem solver, who can balance the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders, while fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Champion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability, and ensure that our creative work reflects our values and mission.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
