Arthroplasty Surgeon opening in CA
Located in San Rafael, 20m to San Francisco
Full Time Position
Healthy System is looking for an exceptional arthroplasty surgeon to join our expanding team. Each year, our orthopedic specialists care for thousands of patients, covering the full range of orthopedic care from prevention and diagnostics to treatment and rehabilitation. Our team is exceptionally collaborative and includes board-certified surgeons, along with specialized radiologists, physiatrists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists, and orthopedic and spine navigators.
The Position
Join a well-established network of primary care, orthopedic, and specialty providers
Full-time position, serving the highly desirable communities of Marin and the North Bay
Robust referral base
Exciting growth opportunity with strong clinical, administrative, philanthropic, and marketing support
Participate in call panel, covering 5 shifts per month
Main clinic located in San Rafael, with outreach clinic locations available throughout the North Bay
Dedicated midlevel support for the orthopedic program
Opportunities to participate in research and collaborate on clinical projects at a campus and with other departments
Epic electronic health record utilized
Qualifications for this Position
M.D. or D.O.
Applicants must be board eligible or certified with the American Board of Orthopedics
Accredited fellowship training in arthroplasty
Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
Possess leadership experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and an interest in expanding our Orthopedic Program in Marin and the broader North Bay
Exhibit excellent communication skills and be able to develop strong relationships with patients, as well as sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences
Practice evidence-based medicine and possess a strong philosophy of excellence in patient care and excellence in the overall patient experience
Compensation
Initial salary of $370,000 for physicians coming directly out of fellowship with higher salary rates for mid career physicians. Additional compensation available through on call payments and bonus. As faculty within the University of California you would be entitled to full benefits including retirement benefits.
