Job description

Overview:
The Production Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Entertainment specific audio, video, data, and control systems, as well as researching and developing emerging technologies. Organizes the large number of events that occur every year using strong strategic planning and organizational skills. Ensures that technical specifications are met for Chumash Casino Resort Entertainment events.

Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and implements audio, video, media, and control system infrastructure for Entertainment events.

Advance shows by confirming show details with internal departments (Food & Beverage, Hotel, Transportation, Security etc.) prior to the show date.

Advance shows by confirming show details with Artist's production staff and Tour Managers prior to the show date.

Manages projects to meet aggressive schedules and objectives.

Maintains, repairs, and operates all Entertainment related equipment associated with the Samala Showroom.

Establishes policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the showroom.

Directs the production team and ushers on show nights.

Analyzes and reports on event contracts and riders to department leadership.

Conducts a regular review of Entertainment's performance and production needs.

Provides improvement recommendations for technology, equipment, and staffing.

Plans, schedules, and executes preventative maintenance for equipment.

Ensures that space utilization, special arrangements, building policies, and fire regulations are followed by performers and private contractors.

Process billing and ensures vendors are paid on time.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Film Studies, Project Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Five years of experiences in a management position within the entertainment industry.

Prior experience with design and implementation of acoustics and/or acoustical engineering.

Prior experience with stage sound and lights including intelligent lighting.

Advanced computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.

Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.

Native American hiring preference applies.

Minimum Pay Rate:
$73,090 annually

Maximum Pay Rate:
$91,363 annually
