Senior Sales Analyst

Hybrid Schedule - 3 Days in Office

Salary: Base salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Eligible for potential annual bonus and equity

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities using market data, customer insights, and industry reports.
  • Analyze sales data to uncover trends and opportunities, develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics, and create persuasive sales presentations for clients, partners, and investors.
  • Manage the purchase order process ensuring accuracy and efficiency, coordinate with internal teams to handle sales orders, and resolve issues.
  • Formulate go-to-market strategies and goals with commercial leadership, translate market insights into actionable plans for revenue growth and market expansion, and collaborate on trade plans and expenditures.
  • Evaluate financial data, pricing strategies, profitability, and cost structures to maximize revenue and improve margins, predict customer demand to support production decisions and forecast sales trends.
  • Partner with commercial, R&D, operations, and other departments to align business efforts with company goals and collaborate on go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with Nielsen data platform or Spins data is required.
  • Strong preference for experience within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) sector.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, market research, and advanced Excel functions.
  • Proficiency in various data analysis and visualization tools, including spreadsheets, business intelligence platforms, and databases. Familiarity with machine learning concepts, CRM systems, ERP software, and general BI tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories and present data in a persuasive manner.
  • Strong collaborator with excellent teamwork skills, capable of working across departments and contributing to a dynamic startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex ideas and influencing stakeholders, with a strategic mindset to foresee market trends and discover growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving business results, executing successful business development strategies, and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting managing multiple projects.
