Logistics Data Support Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local Anticipated Posting End: 11/25/2024 We have a great opportunity for a Logistics Data Support Analyst to support the Data Transport Product Support Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) Contract. The DSLM objective is to sustain and modernize the Data Transmit (Tx) and Receive (Rx) Network (DTRN) as part of the Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) organization within Space Systems Command (SSC) - (BCS). The DSLM effort provides sustaining, maintaining, and logistics support for the operational capability to transfer data for the purpose of providing highly reliable and secure telemetry, tracking, command, control, and communications (TT&C3) for more than 195 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil, and allied satellites, as well as the future sustainment, maintenance, and logistics of other DTRN programs at the appropriate phase . Execute the duties of a Logistics Data Support Specialist within the framework of a Contractor Support Weapons System (CSWS). Directly engage with the Government customer while supporting a variety of contract-required meetings, including the monthly Logistics and Technical Interface Meeting (LOGTIM) and numerous Production meetings. Perform all necessary functions in procurement databases, including GOLDesp MRO & Supply, PUBLOG, WEBFLIS, WAWF, and CAVAF, to facilitate causative research and other functional areas. You will be responsible for the exchange of knowledge and the execution of logistics functions, such as Spares Analysis, Part Record Maintenance, and Inventory. Complete an examination and resolution of routine and recurring discrepancies that are related to actions such as inventory adjustments, receipt control, stock control, and record maintenance. Conduct a cycle count inventory reconciliation of government furnished (GFP) and contractor acquired property (CAP) by evaluating the physical counts recorded and resolving any discrepancies that are identified. Utilize the most suitable supply guidelines, references, and procedures chosen for application, and determine which of several established alternatives is chosen to be used in the processing and/or resolution of discrepant inventory transactions. More About the Role : Performs a variety of activities regarding data analytics that are subjective in nature and requires an understanding of supply principles. Incumbent has an in depth understanding of how item logistics data impacts the DOD supply chain process to anticipate customer requirements. Examines logistics data from a variety of sources, including all Military Services, Federal Agencies, and NATO partners as necessary. Extracts, analyzes, and interprets complex logistics data in support of a range of part records/cataloging or collaborating initiatives. Recommends changes to policy, procedures, approval criteria, business case analysis and major impacts on part record maintenance. Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods, theories, concepts, and techniques pertinent to the study of logistics data residing in FLIS. Knowledge and technical ability pertaining to, part records/cataloging, including equipment and/or logistics related experience to review, analyze and evaluate program developments, progress, and performance. Analyze data requests to determine feasibility and impact to related applications and recommend solutions. Conduct ad-hoc data analysis on an as needed basis. Identify patterns and trends in data sets. Produce clear, professional reports from query result sets. Produce data-related artifacts including the Data Dictionary. Review draft data-related features and provide constructive feedback. Create data visualizations to communicate trends to stakeholders. Work directly with stakeholders to provide context and detail to inform data-driven decisions. You'll Bring These Qualifications : B.S/B.A or equivalent Data entry experience or related office experience. 7+ years of experience working with data entry/input and maintenance. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
