Position: Collections Analyst
Location: Danbury, CT (in office 5 days/week)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections Analyst to join this team in Danbury, CT. This candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, managing customer accounts, and assisting with credit management. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and contact customers for payment collection.
• Maintain detailed records of all communications and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on collection efforts and account statuses.
• Recommend accounts for collections or write-offs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations.
• Assist in improving collections processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
