Full Charge Bookkeeper

Our client is a non profit organization in Derby and they're looking for a talented and detail oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team.

Main Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper

  • The Full Charge Bookkeeper will prepare, analyze, and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financials for grants and contracts.
  • Maintain comprehensive grant files and collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting.
  • Monitor expenditures, revenues, and budgets, and notify management of any discrepancies.
  • The Financial Specialist will maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with tax and benefit regulations.
  • Assist with month-end closing, audits, and the development of financial policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications of the Full Charge Bookkeeper

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • About 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Blackbaud is a plus!
