Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for luxury fitout projects.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure they stay within budget and scope.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and negotiate contracts.

Profile

Construction Estimator

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or any field related to the building and construction industry
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably in luxury commercial and residential fitouts.
  • Experience working on Commercial and Residential fitouts Projects in Hartford County
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Local/Commutable to Farmington, CT
