Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Oversee the accounting, finance, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.
• Manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors and the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and senior leadership to drive financial strategies that align with the organization's goals.
• Present financial reports and analyses to the Finance Committee, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings and audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a nonprofit organization.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, grant management, and donor reporting.
• Experience with financial systems such as Sage Intacct, MIP, or similar accounting software.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
