Upcoming projects in CT: Niantic, East Haven, Merien, Middletown, Ridefield, Waterbury

Projects, ranging from $5M-$75M+ with a mix of ground up/new construction, fit-outs & renovation work.

Although they're a smaller firm, they take on large projects - gain hands on experience & have ability to take initiative in your role!

Description

The Superintendent is responsible for:

• Overseeing large scale Commercial & Residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Excellent working relations & communication with Owners, architects, engineers, and consultants
• Leading site personnel, providing guidance to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, and performance
• Developing & maintaining relationships with clients, and maintaining open lines of communication
• Reading, understanding, and maintaining a thorough understanding of contract documents, drawings and specifications, addendums, and qualifications
• Creating and maintaining a three week look-ahead schedule & ensuring adherence
• Driving the speed, direction, quality & safety of the project

Profile

The right Superintendent has the following qualifications:

• 3+ years Superintendent experience with a commercial GC
• Experience as a Super on largescale Commercial & Multifamily projects between $5-$75M+
• Knowledge of construction principles, methods, and techniques
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Exceptional leadership abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in utilizing construction softwares
