Accounting Manager
Hybrid work model, 1-2 days on-site

$95,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Accounting Operations: Manage all day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, invoicing, collections, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Supervise and Develop Your Team: Mentor, train, and manage a team of three, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Drive Financial Strategy: Develop and analyze operational budgets, implement cost standards, prepare COGS, manage inventory, and ensure the integrity of financial statements.
  • Enhance Processes: Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting.
  • Tax Compliance: Manage monthly sales tax filings for multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience with a track record of supervisory success.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Government contracting experience is required.
  • Skills: A proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
