Position Summary: Accounts Payable Supervisor
As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department. Your primary focus will be on streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and cleaning up existing workflows to enhance overall efficiency. You will lead a team, provide guidance, and ensure that all payments are processed accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Supervisor

  • Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable team, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for Accounts Payable.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support financial decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications: Accounts Payable Supervisor

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong focus on process improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
