Job description

Position Description: SPAARK is seeking a Occupant Emergency Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Developments (HUD) location in Washington, DC. The Occupant Emergency SME is responsible for analyzing and implementing emergency programs, engaging with stakeholders to mitigate disaster risks, and presenting findings to internal and external audiences. The role will involve developing solutions for program challenges to changing requirements to enhance the safety of critical personnel. • Analyzing, reviewing, and implementing activities • Enhancing occupant emergency programs • Maintaining engagement with stakeholders to reduce the frequency, severity, and cost of disasters, injuries, fatalities, and impact on critical infrastructure and personnel • Presenting findings and recommendations, both orally and in writing to internal and external audiences • Developing solutions to resolve program issues or changing requirements Qualifications Position Requirements: • Top Secret/SCI Clearance required. • At least 4 years of experience in the areas outlined above • Completion of IS-700 NIMS, an Introduction, and ICS-100, Introduction to the Incident Command System • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Preferred Canidates: • Additional Incident Command System (ICS) coursework has been completed EEO Employer F/M/Vet/Disabled
