Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Active or Interim Secret Clearance Baer is looking for an SAP MDG Consultant for a 12+ month Federal remote project. Title:SAP MDG Consultant Location:Remote (Must be based in US) Duration:12+ months Alignment:W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted) Project Overview: Our client is leading the technical upgrade of their critical Financial and Procurement systems for a major branch of the Department of Defense (DoD), transitioning from SAP ECC to S4 HANA. The project focuses on a fit-to-standard approach, minimizing customizations and aligning with S4 HANA's standard configuration. Key efforts include defining requirements for the upgrade and supporting business process re-engineering. Description: We are looking for an SAP MDG Consultant to support the data strategy and requirements for master data and transactional data.Responsibilities include: Assist in creating Master Data Governance documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data governance policies. Developing a data cleansing strategy and approach. Supporting the development and implementation of data governance metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of master datagovernance processes. Identifying, extracting, and transforming the data from the client ECC system operating today to the government-provided S4 HANAsandbox environment, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the migration process. Assisting in the development and execution of data cleansing and data quality improvement initiatives. Conducting data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of master data and transactional data. Assisting in the identification and resolution of master data and transactional data issues and discrepancies, working closely with businessstakeholders and IPTs. Capturing all data tables, structures, and relevant interface and system architecture information that are data inputs in E2E activities. Evaluating the value, hygiene, lifecycle, and usefulness of the above mentioned data and providing recommendations for inclusion in the upgrade based on S4 HANA data structures and storage requirements in partnership with the Solutions Design team. Capturing and assessing existing end user data workbooks or business processes that generate data and evaluating the need for inclusion in the S4 HANA upgrade. Utilizing available technology to develop a data catalogue of the identified data elements, master data, transactional data, and meta and attribute information. Requirements: Strong understanding of the SAP MDG tool having completed two (2) full lifecycles working on data translation, mapping, cleansing, consolidation, etc. Hands on S4 HANA migration experience. Experience deploying functional and technical subject-matter expertise in a particular relevant field in support of State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees. Senior level (SME) labor category requires 9+ years of relevant SAP experience including 6 years of experience leading business systems modernization/sustainment and related projects. Mid-level labor category requires 6 years of relevant SAP experience. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate technical field from an accredited institution. An additional (2) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Professional IT Certification - CISA (or similar) or Certification in one or more relevant SAP Modules. Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Public Sector, or government regulated industry experience (i.e.: Aerospace & Defense) experience required. Interim or Active Secret Clearance Required.
