Description Markon is looking for a Space Planner to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. Responsibilities Coordinate with government clients in strategy development and execution of enterprise space management.
Assemble and analyze technical information related to building usage to support planning and compliance processes.
Prepare recommendations regarding goals, objectives, and alternatives for planning projects.
Coordinate daily with Directorate/Office Space Coordinators (DSCs/OSCs), knowledge managers, project managers, move managers, and design managers to de-conflict space requirements.
Oversee and improve organizational processes used to plan and manage space throughout the National Capitol Region (NCR).
Collect, organize, analyze, and prioritize customer requirements within the space management system of record.
Interface with stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
Develop practical and intelligent tools and programs (via databases and shared environments) to provide leadership, decision makers, and customers information in real time.
Provide input on strategic direction to ensure operational effectiveness, proficiency, and alignment to internal controls.
Provide data, metrics, and input on space usage across the enterprise.
Develop presentations and lead coordination meetings with stakeholders.
Performing site visits and collect field measurements to verify data.
Working across multiple assignments and job sites simultaneously.
Performing space audits at NCR facilities. Qualifications Required: TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or 10 years with no degree Reading blueprints and floorplans.
Reviewing and creating space layouts using AutoCAD Desired Experience With: ARCHIBUS , SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and developing standard operating procedures Salary Range USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
