Our client is a family-owned General Contractor based in MD that has been in business for over 20 years. They started as a residential contractor before evolving into one of the area's most well-known federal government contractors. They are known for completing projects ranging between $500K and $20M for entities such as the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, MD Air National Guard, and more. They are actively looking to grow their team by bringing on an experienced Superintendent.



Description

The Superintendent - Federal Government Projects - MD, DC, VA will be responsible for:

  • managing day-to-day on-site construction activities
  • ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • monitoring construction to ensure it adheres to plans
  • coordinating the subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
  • working closely with the project management team to develop and maintain construction schedules
  • monitoring project budgets and expenses
  • identifying and resolving issues

Profile

The Superintendent - Federal Government Projects - MD, DC, VA will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction
  • federal government experience required
  • OSHA certifications
  • familiarity with project management software such as Procore
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • strong organizational skills
