Job description

As a Foreman with Stryker Electric, you'll lead skilled electricians and apprentices to deliver top-quality, code-compliant electrical projects on time and safely. This role combines hands-on work with team leadership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with project managers to uphold Stryker Electric's high standards in every installation and repair.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations at the worksite, coordinating tasks and assigning duties to electricians and apprentices.

Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices according to building codes and regulations.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial settings.

Conduct circuit tests and measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and phase displacement using electrical instruments.

Collaborate with other electricians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.

Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code.

Communicate with project managers to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.

Prepare and submit daily reports on activities, labor hours, equipment usage, and project milestones.

Implement on-site safety protocols, perform inspections, and address any safety concerns.

Train and mentor team members in safety practices and construction tasks.

Requirements

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills

3+ years of experience as a foreman or in a similar role.

Proficient in construction methods, blueprint reading, and safety regulations.

Basic Computer skills, able to email, download documents and edit simple forms

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

Valid Driver's License.

Journeyman License. Or equivalent experience

OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain.

Effective communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus
