Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for taking the project from inception including doing some take-offs and estimates through construction and obtaining CO.

Client Details

General Contractor with over 30 years of successful Luxury Residential and High-End Commercial projects.

Description

  • Manage project from pre-construction through obtaining CO
  • Manage submittal's that are required to document the construction process.
  • Coordinate and track project plans and permitting
  • Manage project controls and financial's for project including change orders.
  • Interprets plans and specifications to prepare proper building schedule and field installation.
  • Manage the change management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, wiring change orders and other related activities.
  • Establish, monitor, communicate, and maintain project schedules utilizing contemporary scheduling software.
  • Maintain and regularly produce reports
  • Assist at beginning of project with pre-construction and estimating

Profile

  • 10 years of experience of Luxury Single Family Construction experience
  • Experience building Luxury Residential projects in Dade, Broward or Palm Beach Counties (REQUIRED)
  • 4 year degree; construction management, engineering, architecture or similar (Preferred)
  • Procore or similar software experience (Required)
  • Experience working on projects from $1M to $20M
  • Strong knowledge of building science and construction process
  • Effective and proven leadership skill
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
  • Ability to analyze, adapt, & create resolutions to problematic situations
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Experience and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to work in Miami onsite at project and go to office in Palm Beach a couple days a week as needed
