At Dycom Industries, as a Driving Safety Analyst, you'll be responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of safe driving practices using state-of-the-art technology to train and coach our drivers. The goal is to support the creation of a healthy and safe workplace through education of drivers to improve performance.

What you'll do as a Driving Safety Analyst

Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks

Coach drivers via remote technology and in-person on their driving behaviors

Using a combination of our in-cab monitoring system and defensive driving techniques, coach field personnel to improve performance

Monitor safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions

Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues

Provide classroom instruction to new and experienced drivers

Provide in-the-car training and evaluations of drivers

Ability to analyze data and determine trends to make recommendations

What you'll need

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

Proven experience as a safety specialist or degree in related field

Demonstrated passion and experience in driver training, evaluation, and ongoing coaching

Must be comfortable with intervening/speaking up when unsafe acts or processes are observed

Must be comfortable communicating with people in leadership positions

Strong decision-making skills with the ability to determine and explain which behaviors should be coached and recommend when action should be taken

Additional qualifications

Proficient in Excel

Experience using Google Suite of products

Domestic travel is approximately 20% depending on business need
