We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Construction Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction projects in Fort Lauderdale. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels in project leadership, from planning through completion.

Description

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of healthcare construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting to project completion and handover.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and healthcare administrators to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, especially in active healthcare environments where minimizing disruptions is critical.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control and adhere to stringent healthcare facility standards for construction and materials.

Profile

  • 7+ years of project management experience in healthcare construction.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare building codes, compliance requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage large teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle the complexities of healthcare projects, including tight deadlines, budget constraints, and working in operational healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with project management software, cost estimating, and scheduling tools.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus, as well as a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
