Position Overview:
The organization is in search of a strategic and dynamic CFO to oversee financial operations and drive financial strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in DCAA/DCMA compliance and a strong passion for the augmented and virtual reality industry. This role will be pivotal in aligning financial objectives with ambitious growth plans and will provide the opportunity to work alongside some of the most imaginative and innovative creators in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with DCAA and DCMA regulations, maintaining accurate financial records and audits.
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's mission and vision in the AR/VR sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements and optimize resource allocation.
Provide strategic insights to the executive team and board of directors to facilitate informed decision-making.
Oversee cash management, investment strategies, and financial risk assessment.
Foster a culture of transparency and accountability in financial practices across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
Demonstrated experience with DCAA/DCMA regulations and compliance.
CDFM (Certified Defense Financial Manager) qualification required.
Proven track record in the technology sector, with a strong preference for experience in augmented/virtual reality or related fields.
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Strong leadership capabilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
