Job description

Gulfstream Staffing has recently partnered with a nationally recognized dermatology organization. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Regional Coding Educator opportunity in Orlando, FL.

This position is responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing comprehensive coding education programs to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient coding practices across the dermatology network.

Location: Remote (Orlando Preferred) Travel 50% Throughout FL

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards specific to dermatology

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.

Proficiency in using digital training platforms and webinar software.

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with preference for CPC-D in Dermatology or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) required

Certified Coding Educator (CDE) or equivalent certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding, with a focus on dermatology.

Operations experience within a medical office setting

Duties:

Coding Educational Program Development

Conduct coding education sessions onsite at multiple dermatology practice locations across the network, ensuring consistent training delivery and understanding.

Ensure all training materials and sessions comply with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards, as well as payer-specific requirements.

Stay current with coding guidelines, and industry trends to ensure training materials are up to date. Understand payer policies and coding guidelines for the individual payers
