The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Rate Range: $60-$70/Hr
Job Description:
The Digital Implementation Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment of digital solutions across the organization.
This role involves managing the implementation of web, mobile, and other digital platforms from planning through to execution and post-launch support.
The Digital Implementation Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, product management, and external vendors, to ensure that digital initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
Develop and manage detailed project plans for digital implementations, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
Lead regular project status meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Team Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, quality analysts, and third-party vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor the work of the project team to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress, challenges, and key decisions.
Facilitate workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to engage stakeholders and gather feedback.
Manage expectations and ensure alignment between project outcomes and business needs.
Digital Solution Deployment:
Oversee the end-to-end implementation of digital solutions, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into existing systems and processes.
Work with IT and security teams to ensure that all deployments adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure any issues are resolved prior to go-live.
Change Management:
Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new digital tools and processes by end-users.
Provide training and support to users, ensuring they are equipped to fully utilize the new digital solutions.
Monitor and address user feedback post-implementation to drive continuous improvement.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify potential risks and issues related to the implementation process and develop mitigation strategies.
Escalate critical issues to senior management as necessary, and work with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
Ensure that all risks and issues are documented and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish metrics to measure the success of digital implementations and report on performance post-launch.
Analyze project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and apply insights to future projects.
Provide regular reports to stakeholders on project status, including financials, resource utilization, and achievement of objectives.
Vendor and Partner Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring they deliver on contractual obligations.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms as necessary to support project goals.
Coordinate with procurement teams to manage vendor contracts and agreements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in leading digital implementation projects, preferably in a retail banking environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital projects on time and within budget.
Skills:
Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Asana.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong understanding of digital technologies, including web and mobile platforms, CMS, e-commerce, and CRM systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in digital transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Experience with cloud-based solutions and SaaS platforms.
Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
Working Conditions:
The role may require occasional travel to different sites or offices.
Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
