The
Facility Manager
is an on-site position and responsible for all day-to-day operations, including maintenance, hard and soft services, meeting room coordination, space planning support, occupant/client relations, budgeting, accounts payable process, support for capital planning, financial and operational reporting, support project management, and long-term planning of the FM strategy for a training complex spanning over several acres. The Facility Manager will also provide oversight of vendor relationships; ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations; and ensure compliance with risk management standards.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement operational programs to ensure efficiency and reliability of building and systems while maintaining first-class operations.
Manage vendor contracts, from the inception of bid process through transition and routine interaction along with quality assurance as the scope of work is performed.
Administer CMMS solutions through oversight of reactive and preventative maintenance workflow and respective documentation.
Coordination / compliance of life-safety, energy management, and site safety services that support the facility environment.
Compliance with establish KPIs and SLA.
Create, implement, and control the annual operating budget.
Support the development of the client held capital budget.
Perform building inspections as required.
Plan, coordinate and execute projects within portfolio as necessary.
Develop and lead a meeting room coordination solution for spaces throughout campus.
Interact with facility stakeholders, occupants, and client leaders.
Oversee accounting functions; support the accounts payable process, prepare monthly reports to client including reconciliation of accounts, preparation of budget variance narratives, etc.
Promote and foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and FM team members.
Understand and follow all Colliers policies and procedures.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of leadership experience in facility or property management commercial buildings.
BS/BA degree from a university or college accredited through a Regional Accrediting Association. RPA, CPM or CFM designation preferred.
Demonstrated operational success for maintenance operations and vendor services.
Thorough understanding of technical facets related to an integrated facility management environment.
Proven financial and accounting competency and abilities.
Proven ability to lead direct reports both onsite and remote.
Superior organizational and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, with strong attention to high standards of customer service, negotiating sensitive management issues and navigating a multiple client stakeholder environment.
Comprehensive knowledge around facility systems and operations.
Proficient computer and administrative skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to grow as the scope of the position increases.
Possess a valid state of Georgia Drivers License
Ability to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check.
Ability to travel as required.
