Job Description

Management and control of a production area (production unit) to achieve the specifications (sales, earnings, inventories, rejects, personnel costs, quality, etc.) with constant further development of all influencing factors (personnel, processes )

Ensuring the onboarding, assessment and further development of employees by the subordinate managers

Long-term planning in terms of personnel, machine capacity, processes, etc. (e.g. OPSP, CAPEX)

Independently ensuring effective customer communication

Proactive cooperation with internal and external interfaces (e.g. plant management, quality, HR, customers) and sister departments and plants

Planning and optimizing investments for production expansion and optimization independently

Ensuring up-to-date and audit-compliant production documentation

Responsible for continuous improvement (technology and organization of work) and coordination of GMS activities

Cost center responsibility

KPI responsibility and ensuring reporting

Relevant KPI:

Daily performance / performance reporting (OEE)

Sales volume

Rejects/ good parts

Complaints

Order change / time expenditure

Personnel deployment (Manning)

Occupational safety
