Job Summary
Culpepper & Associates Security Services is seeking several Dispatchers at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) in Honolulu, Hawaii. Employment Status
Full-time and Part-time positions available. Wage: $29.57 per hour. Base $25.00 plus $4.57 Health & Welfare stipend. Job Description
Warning Point Dispatchers prevent, protect, mitigate, and direct response and recovery from any man made or natural all hazard event in order to protect personnel and prevent damage to critical infrastructure to the shipyard. Responsibilities • Provide customer service to our client by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Monitor media and websites such as National Weather Service and Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. • Receive and disseminate notification of events to key PHNSY leadership personnel. • Have the ability to work Dispatch Console after training. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Ability to work and effectively interact with military and civilian personnel. • Ability to provide administrative assistance; use initiative and sound judgment within established guidelines; organize, coordinate, and prioritize a variety of assignments. • Work effectively under pressure with frequent interruptions. • Ability to organize and prioritize work. • Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining classified information to include voice communications, hardcopy materials and physical security. • Demonstrate skill in using a variety of communication devices (both voice and data) for receipt and delivery of information essential to operation of a message center. Qualifications • Must be a citizen of the United States. • Must possess and maintain an active SECRET security clearance. • Knowledgeable in the operation of Operations Centers, and emergency operations centers or their equivalents.
