Job description

Summary You will serve as a Counter Narcotics All-Source Intelligence Analyst at the GG-13 grade level for the Intelligence Division of the J3 Operations and Intelligence Directorate, Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West, located at located at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. Duties You will ensure coordination and collaboration of network discovery among participating DoD, law enforcement, and host nation. You will assist with managing intelligence alerts, supporting regional/combined maritime operations, and sponsors a variety of technological and operational initiatives. You will be responsible for complex, all-source, predictive analysis, production, and dissemination of counter-drug, narco-terrorism, and transnational criminal organization intelligence. You will formulate and maintain multiple intelligence databases and files. You will develop all-source intelligence evaluations, reports, and briefs. You will routinely develop and brief Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West intelligence products to senior members of the DoD, U.S. and partner nation law enforcement, and other intelligence agencies. You will deploy for extended periods to provide law enforcement with analytical support. You will support deployed analysts by providing reach-back support and access Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West and/or DoD core competencies and intelligence capabilities. You will represent Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West at local, national, and international intelligence community meetings and conferences. You will serve as a liaison with members of the intelligence community and law enforcement agencies for issues relating to all-source intelligence analysis, production, and dissemination. You will provide highly complex analysis, production and dissemination of current, operational, and strategic intelligence in support of DoD, the intelligence community (IC), and U.S. and foreign law enforcement agencies. You will execute Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West illicit chemicals, narcotics, and related commodities-focused intelligence programs and production efforts. You will support organizational goals, objectives, priorities and develop plans and programs to accomplish designated objectives through effective and efficient business practices. You will address and gain concurrence on emerging real-world developments impacting the Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West mission set. You will represent the organization, discuss policy, resolve standing issues, and influence future leadership decisions impacting the Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West mission. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. This position may require a 2-year DCIPS Trial Period. This position may require a Polygraph Examination. PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance. This position will onboard and conduct orientation at JIATF West on Camp H. M. Smith, HI for eventual PCS to Mexico City, Mexico for 3-5 years. Upon PCS to Mexico City, Mexico, member will no longer receive Hawaii COLA, and will transition to D.C. locality rate. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
Producing periodic evaluations, briefs and other intelligence assessments on counterdrug-related topics.
Conducting illicit chemicals, narcotics, and related commodities-focused intelligence analysis.
Providing highly complex analysis, production and dissemination of current, operational, and strategic intelligence.

Upon PCS to Mexico City, Mexico, member will no longer receive Hawaii COLA, and will transition to D.C. locality rate.
