Overview Na Ali'i is looking for a Jr. Business Financial Analyst (BFA) is a position that reports to the Sr. Financial Planning Analyst. Responsible for assisting the business financial analysts in managing business and financial related aspects of contracts. The overarching goal of the Jr. BFA is to ensure project financial information provides an accurate representation of the project for both internal and external audiences. Responsibilities The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Assist BFAs as they work with Project Managers (PMs) to develop contract budgets and maintaining Estimates To Completion/ Estimates At Completion (ETC/EAC) in Deltek's Costpoint accounting software Maintain the timeline around creating and completing EACs for revenue recognition and forecasting in Deltek's Costpoint accounting software Assist in the development and maintenance of financial related training guides for Project Managers Maintain and update the data within the revenue file Assist with uploading and maintaining data within Qlik Sense Dashboards Assist with the entry and reconciliation of project modifications Assist Finance and Accounting (F&A) with the Intercompany cost and fee transfer and reconciliation Assist with the development and maintenance of several financial products for internal use. Analyze significant $/% changes in project EACs Assist with development and verification of direct accruals Assist BFA in preparation of F0 budget waterfall and follow-on forecast revisions (F1-F3) Monitor monthly project performance against forecast Costpoint report navigation, Project Status Reports (PSRs), labor and non-labor summary reports, EACs Assist Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and the Managing Director in compiling business line data for quarterly reporting Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: Exercises substantial autonomy in the day-to-day planning and management of work requirements. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality. Works collaboratively and exercises solid judgement in decision-making. Excellent technical, organizational, and planning skills. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Must possess strong numerical and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated capabilities in researching, collecting, and synthesizing large and complex datasets or databases and possess strong quantitative ability and a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) are required. Must be a U.S. citizen. Education and Experience: Associate/B.S. Degree in finance, accounting, math, business administration or data/analytics or an equivalent related field from an accredited institution. 0-2 years of work experience in financial or related role. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation : Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $50,000.00 to $53,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
