Job description

Duties You will administer housing and lodging procedures to ensure assignment, occupancy, and termination actions comply with established policies. You will coordinate resources areas (e.g., acquisition, housing, real estate, counsel, engineering, planning, utilities, financial management and manpower) to ensure requirements are met. You will maintain housing eligibility lists according to established procedures. You will develop performance plans to address individual employee performance issues, training and developmental needs. You will maintain relationships with others (e.g., customers, providers) to ensure potential housing issues can be mutually resolved. You will perform inspections of local housing units to determine availability and conditions of quarters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Providing technical oversight for property management functions; 2) Planning work assignments and making adjustments to meet substantial changes in workload, work priorities, and deadlines; 3) Working with a Program Manager or similar to develop and implement short-range and long-range plans for construction; 4) Providing advice, council, and instructions for housing; 5) Determining requirements and managing all resources used in support of assigned housing facilities and infrastructure, including personnel, facilities, funds, and materials.
