Description SAIC is seeking a Field Training Exercise Planner located at the K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center on Oahu, Hawaii to support the USINDOPACOM to plan, oversee, and coordinate use of simulations, as well as gather requirements of the training audience and complete mission analysis based on the exercise and training objectives. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for building, maintaining, and operating Joint Live Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) and C4I systems and architectures, in coordination with other stakeholders, to plan and execute FTXs and other events and training activities as identified. Coordinate across operational planners, technical planners and engineers, simulation center experts, range experts, and service representatives to identify requirements for joint simulations in support of Field Training Exercises and other exercises/events, as identified. Lead JLVC working groups, virtual collaboration forums, and Joint M&S working group products. Develop a Plan of Action, and Milestones (POA&Ms) to enable and guide the M&S efforts toward achieving the Exercise/Training Objectives. Perform duties as part of Simulation/Technical Control Cell during test events and execution. Assist with event scenario development and associated activities to add value and enhance current exercises with JLVC solutions and new technologies. Builds event plans, products and works well with others to accomplish exercise or training event objectives. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of related experience accepted in lieu of degree. Experience planning and coordinating Joint Exercises. Experience performing tests during set up for Event Functional Tests (EFT), Event Operational Test (EOT), and Exercise Control Group (ECG) Training. Experience developing integration and execution plans, SOPs, system diagrams, and other technical documentation. Experience developing architectural products for delivering JLVC capabilities and Joint Enablers in a distributed, multi-facility/range environment. Experience planning and leadership in a military background environment. DESIRED SKILLSET: Experience supporting distributed simulation environments for wargames and training exercises. Experience building simulation and C4I systems for use during wargames, exercises, and technical events. REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Must have a current Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Must be a current US Citizen. Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline. Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
