Job description

Overview of the CFO Role: As the Chief Financial Officer with our organization, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic direction and oversight for all financial aspects of the company. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management. You will play a crucial role in driving financial performance, supporting growth initiatives, and maximizing shareholder value.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation strategies to optimize financial resources and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; MBA or CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and create value for stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving financial objectives.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
