Position: Director of Finance & Accounting

Supervisor: Executive Director

Overview: Join our non-profit as the Director of Finance & Accounting, where you'll oversee all financial operations, from payroll to reporting. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you'll be a key player on the Senior Management Team and work closely with the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable/receivable, process invoices, and ensure timely deposits.
• Payroll & Benefits: Oversee accurate and punctual payroll and benefits administration.
• Financial Transactions: Maintain accurate records, manage journal entries, and reconcile multiple accounts.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
• Budgeting: Collaborate on annual budget development and maintenance.
• Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and manage auditing processes.
• Communication: Provide financial insights, support decision-making, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in communication.
• Preferred: Experience with QuickBooks, Lightspeed POS, Neon CRM, and non-profit accounting.
