Job Title: Network Administrator (Microsoft Products & O365)

Location: South Bend, IN

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator specializing in Microsoft products and Office 365 to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. Your expertise in Microsoft technologies will be crucial in optimizing our systems and supporting our workforce effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues such as network connectivity and downtime.
  • Install, configure, and support Microsoft servers and applications, particularly focusing on Office 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.).
  • Implement security measures to protect the network and systems from vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and end-users to provide technical support and resolve escalated issues related to network and Microsoft products.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity within Microsoft environments.
  • Evaluate and recommend upgrades or improvements to network systems in line with business growth and technological advancements.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft technologies and Office 365.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
  • Experience with Microsoft server technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network security practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
