Job Description: As part of a multidisciplinary team, provide therapeutic interventions to adults receiving intensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorders (SUD). Overview

Roaring Brook provides intensive outpatient services to adults living with substance abuse issues. Services are based on an integration of various evidence-based methods with an abstinence-based recovery philosophy. The program provides services in accordance with SAMHSA's recovery model defined as "a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential." Health and wellness values are integrated into person-centered treatment planning. The program helps persons pursuing recovery apply evidence-based strategies, in the context of caring therapeutic relationships, to develop strength-oriented and skillful living. Participation in a recovery approach aligning with the person's value-system is integral to treatment and aftercare recommendations. Roaring Brook is CARF accredited.
