Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Shipping and Logistics Specialist to join the Warehouse team in Louisville, KY.

Position Overview
This position assists with all warehouse operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and a safe work environment. Processing receipt of product (restaurant equipment), staged packages, and inventory orders. Organizing and shipping of all shipments to meet customer requirements. Will use an electric sit-down forklift to load and unload heavy and bulky restaurant equipment. Perform general warehouse tasks such as facility cleaning and stocking of inventory.
Hours: Monday through Friday - 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - 1 hour lunch - Will require overtime during peak season

Essential Functions
Verifies accuracy of all receipts and shipments to ensure timely and accurate processing of all warehouse
activities in ERP system - Oracle NetSuite/Rf-Smart WMS
Maintains organization of warehouse dock, inventory, and staged package bin locations
Checks and performs quality control of materials against receipts, customers, customer orders, picking lists,
and billings.
Prepares and handles products for shipment to customers, including shrink and hand wrap parts; include all
necessary paperwork; create and label boxes; package and box orders.
Prepares accurate shipping documents in 3PL system, UPS, or other applicable system (s)
Ensures customer expectations are met for delivery timing and specific requirements.
Communicates timely with Restaurant Development, Customer Support Teams, and Accounting on any open issues.
Communicate via phone, email, messaging, etc. with suppliers and vendors.
Coordinates any special requests for product demos, training sessions, etc. as requested.
Performs and communicates returns and transfers accurately.
Operates a forklift to move heavy and bulky restaurant equipment.
Lifting and bending required to move boxes and equipment.
Assist Logistics department, as needed.
Perform general warehouse maintenance tasks, cleaning of facility and stocking inventory.
Maintain accurate inventory of warehouse supplies.
Adopt and ensure use of safe work practices to support a safe work environment.
Adopt and implement best in class practices for warehouse customer service and efficiency.
Adopt and apply best in class practices for inventory management.
Follow OSHA and warehouse safety guidelines.
Wear safety shoes and proper warehouse attire.
Flexible to work as business requires.
Other duties as assigned by management.
This position will require overtime work during peak seasons. May be mornings, evenings, and an occasional
Saturday.

Education, Experience and Skills
High school diploma required.
Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience required. Prefer 3 years warehouse receiving and shipping operational
experience, including logistics experience.
Prior experience operation an electric sit-down forklift required. Prior forklift certification required. Will
recertify if certification has expired.
Prior experience using a pallet jack.

Must be a Team Player. Working in a small team environment.
Excellent customer service skills
Highly organized and attention to detail
Prior OSHA and safety experience in a warehouse environment
Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
Experience with ERP (Oracle NetSuite) and WMS software applications.
Shipping and logistics background in the equipment industry, preferred.
Experience loading and unloading heavy and bulky restaurant equipment.
Must be able to lift fifty pounds. Bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time.
