Responsibilities Be part of our exciting team supporting a robust, world-wide communications network, providing office automation packages; document and information management tools; and collaboration, voice, and video tools in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture supporting a classified DoD IT system. Peraton is seeking a Business Process Consultant to provide support for business and operational process change to modernize the enterprise. Responsibilities include:
Provides process engineering technical support expertise to production activities and plant projects to improve unit operations.
Analyzes processes and re-engineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams.
Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9004.
Demonstrates experience in consulting with a specialization in business and operational process change.
Performs supply chain analyses and develops related recommendations.
Uses analyses to develop recommended operational improvements, lowering costs and improving customer service.
Has specialized experience in modeling business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e., use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements.Qualifications Required: Requires a min 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA, Min 3 years with PhD; 4 years additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree
Active TS/SCI clearance is required
Proven experience in modeling business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e. use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements.
Experience with ITIL 4 framework and/or ITIL 4 Foundations desired, Project Management, and Security policies, procedures and processes
Demonstrated experience in consulting with a specialization in business and operational process change.Desired: Desired Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) training or certification to drive continuous improvement
Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
