Job description

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management and successful completion of commercial construction projects. Projects will be valued between $20M - $200M+

Description

  • Oversee all facets of large-scale commercial construction projects valued between $20M - $200M+
  • Develop and review project plans & schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Effectively communicate project details and updates
  • Work in collaboration with estimators/preconstruction
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with project team, internal staff, contractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential clients
  • Manage change order process
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to subordinate Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Subcontractors
  • Manage/mentor more junior staff members

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • +/- 8-15 years of construction industry experience
  • General Contracting background
  • Strong tenure at current and previous employers
  • Experience overseeing large-scale, complex commercial new construction projects ranging from $30M - $150M+
  • Demonstrated history of client satisfaction and profitability
  • Experience leading and training junior staff members
  • OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR certifications
  • Working knowledge of: Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam
  • Understanding of Primavera and BIM preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
