Job description

The Office of the President seeks a part-time (10-20 hours a week) Executive Driver with ten (10) years of experience in customer transportation services. Must possess knowledge in local MD/DC/VA driving routes to provide safe transportation services to and from specified locations. Must adhere to all applicable traffic laws, ordinances, and regulations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing timely driving services Monday through Friday, when needed. Performing driving duties, as requested and scheduled, during non-business hours such as weekends and holidays. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to be courteous and professional in appearance and behavior; being attentive to the executive passengers requests. Presenting a well-groomed appearance at all times, while on-duty and always conforming to established dress codes. Picking up executive passengers at the exact designated times and locations. Remaining at the designated location until the executive passenger has completed their visit. When trips are scheduled in advance, mapping out the most efficient routes, avoiding construction and other predictable traffic problems. Knowledgeable of, and adhering to, federal and state government policies and procedures regarding security, and government locations. Maintaining driver logs that record daily mileage reflecting each day's driving activity. The Executive Driver is fully conversant in English and communicates effectively orally and in writing. The Executive Driver should possess a valid Driver's License with neither criminal records nor any record of conviction(s). Ensuring the total occupancy of the vehicle does not exceed the number of functioning seatbelts. Inspecting the vehicle daily and reporting any issues concerning any operating defects. Reporting all accidents/traffic or moving violations. Ensuring fuel levels are sufficient for scheduled drives.
