Job Type Full-time Description What You'll Do: As the Management Analyst/Acquisition Specialist to support work within NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program (PMA-262) on site at NAS Patuxent River, MD. As a Management Analyst you will be responsible for: Supporting the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Documents (PID), Statements of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA)
Assessing program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements
Coordinating, attending, and supporting meetings, conferences, and review boards
Analyzing, providing input, preparing, and reporting on briefs, point papers, reports, and general correspondence
Providing PPC support along with general acquisition support The job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. It is intended to describe the general nature of the position. Requirements Education and experience (must meet one): Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience
Associate's degree and 5 years of experience
If no degree is held, qualified candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of related experienceAlso required: Strong background and experience working with PMT and CSPT
Requires demonstrated knowledge of Acquisition Management System (AMS)These characteristics also describe you: You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision
